Marshall and Albion first entered into a collaboration in 2013 when Albion closed its high school and Marshall began educating Albion's 9 -12 grade students. With continued declining enrollment, a full annexation was approved in May 2016. Albion and Marshall are two former rivals in sports and other ways and have had to overcome a variety of issues, not the least of which is race and socioeconomic differences between the two communities. The presentation will share what has and hasn’t worked as they’ve gone through this process.
